The textbook is written in accordance with the curriculum and the program for the training of glass engravers in secondary vocational schools. The tutorial material is divided into two sections. The first section contains general information about glass and its properties, the theoretical foundations of the most common methods of glass processing, the basics of composition and color science. In the second edition, a chapter is given in which the issues of processing technology are linked to the aesthetic principles of decorative and applied art.
