The book tells about the creation of generations of Ukrainian ballistic missiles, which ensured the parity of the USSR during the Cold War in the confrontation with Western countries. Rivalry and "community" with US specialists pushed Ukrainian rocket launchers to develop perfect technical solutions. The experience gained in creating military equipment with the beginning of the conversion of the military-industrial complex in Ukraine predetermined the activities of the State Space Agency for peaceful economic purposes and created the prerequisites for ensuring the defense of an independent state.
