Atlas of the All-Russian Empire is a unique work of the early period of Russian scientific cartography. The initiator of the creation of the Atlas was one of the prominent enlightenment figures of the second quarter of the 18th century, Ivan Kirilovich Kirilov (? - 1737). Originally conceived as a public three-volume edition, the Atlas was published in a limited edition and in an incomplete format. In addition, some of the prepared maps were never included in it.
