Methods of processing geodetic measurements, use of computer equipment in leveling calculations are considered. The main provisions of mathematical statistics, the theory of measurement errors in relation to geodetic disciplines are presented. Several sections are devoted to various aspects of leveling calculations: the general theory of leveling networks with a large number of unknowns, taking into account systematic errors, errors in the initial data, leveling free geodetic networks.
