This textbook is the first part of the UMK "General and Special Course of Military Translation of the Arabic Language," developed at the military department at MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia for the training of qualified translation officers in VUS 390404 "Linguistic Support of Military Activities" based on modern educational materials containing information on the latest models of military equipment and weapons and adequately reflecting the realities existing in the Armed Forces of the Arab states.
