Based on the analysis of published and unpublished documents reflecting the activities of representatives of the British press in Russia in the second half of the 19th - early 20th centuries, the purpose of the study is to trace the process of establishing and operating the representative office of the British print media in Russia in the context of Russian-British relations using the example of the British newspaper Times.
