Patterns for assembling a paper model of the French training biplane of the pre-war period Caudron C.128, developed in a scale of 1:66. Cardboard modeling or Paper models denote the art of creating scale models from paper. Models are assembled from pre-painted, cut and folded paper parts. As paper, a dense watman or other paper with a density of 160-200 gsm is used. Many of the models come in ready-made sets with printed patterns (parts) that the modeler needs to cut and glue. But you can also build a model yourself completely from scratch. Any model can be made of paper, but most often models of buildings and cars are created. No less popular are models of aircraft and ships (both civilian and military). Paper models, contrary to intuitive sensations, are quite durable and can be stored for a very long time. They gain their strength in structure - even thin paper bent in the right way turns into a very durable structure. A well-assembled model will not yield to its plastic competitor. If you are able to hold scissors in your hands without cutting yourself and others, you can build a paper model!
