15 villages were declared "Blackheads" (or, as the Kuban people said, "blackheads" [12]), of which 13 were Kuban and 2 were Don. More than 61.6 thousand villagers were evicted (including almost all residents of the Kuban villages Poltava, Medvedovskaya, Urupskaya) [13]. In almost all these villages, the Cossack population prevailed, which is indirectly confirmed by comparing the results of pre-revolutionary and Soviet censuses. If in 1915 there were 1.3 million Kuban Cossacks in southern Russia, then by the end of 1937 there were "presumably" 1.1 million people in the Krasnodar Territory [14].
