Having received alarming signals from the gloomy depths of the European Middle Ages, employees of the Institute of Experimental History go to England at the end of the 13th century to the court of King Richard the Lionheart. A mysterious ring, donated from the legendary king, turns out to be a powerful mascot leading into the magical world of elves, dragons and magicians.
