Shulgin's notes, covering the period from the revolution of the fifth year, are just interesting in that they depict the process of social and political transformation of the Russian bourgeoisie, depict the process of transformation of nationalist-noble-landowning groups. The interest of Shulgin's notes in this regard is further enhanced by the fact that the author of the notes himself left the extreme right wing of the noble-landowning group.
