This work of the famous military historian and archivist G.S. Gabaev (1877-1956) immediately after publication in Kyiv in 1912 became a bibliographic rarity. This unique reference book provides information about the regiments of regular infantry and cavalry, their organization, uniforms, banners and standards, regimental awards for military exploits in 1812-1814. The library undertook the reprint of this work by G.S. Gabaev, which has not lost its relevance and is addressed to all specialists and amateurs studying the military history of the Russian Empire at the beginning of the 19th century.
