The textbook discusses the general basics of massage, the use of manual massage in sports practice. It contains information on technological parameters of the main massage techniques and regularities of responses of the neuromuscular apparatus and peripheral circulation to the effect of these techniques. Technological modes of tonic and relaxing massage are presented, taking into account which makes it possible to model massage techniques in medical and sports practice.
