There is no doubt that as the social sciences develop, quantitative methods will play an increasing role in them. "Methods of mathematical analysis should be widely used in biology, medicine, as well as in the social sciences, in political economy, sociology, in social statistics, in demographic research, etc. ".1. Recognizing the growing possibilities of using mathematical, quantitative research in social phenomena, Marxism-Leninism at the same time believes that such research should be carried out with strict consideration of the qualitative characteristics of social phenomena. The study of only one quantitative side of social phenomena cannot reveal the essence of the specifics of social processes and patterns. Moreover, reducing the qualitative analysis of social phenomena only to their quantitative characterization can serve as an instrument to obscure the class content of social processes.
