The modern approach to design as a process that is the beginning of changes in natural and human-made environments is outlined. Efficiency criteria, principles of processing and justification of technical solutions are described. Modern aspects of investment efficiency assessment and methods of geological and industrial evaluation of fields are considered. The main focus is on designing the quarry as a mining complex facility.
