The purpose of the study is to fill gaps in historical knowledge about all stages of the formation and development of the I. P. Ladyzhnikov Publishing House, including organizational and commercial aspects, relations with authors, with party Bolshevik and Soviet organizations, relations with Russian (Soviet) and foreign consumers, as well as disclosure of the identity of I. P. Ladyzhnikov as the head of the publishing house and an illegal Bolshevik figure.
