The monograph addresses the page of the November Revolution of 1918-1919, practically unknown in Russian historiography - the Bremen Soviet Republic. The history of the development of self-government of the free Hanseatic city on Weser, its bold experimentation in the power sphere are consistently presented. The course of revolutionary events after the creation of the Bremen Council of Workers and Soldiers in November 1918, the culmination of the proclamation of the BSR on January 10 and the violent cessation of its existence on February 4, 1919 are described in detail.
