Ragozina Zinaida Alekseevna (1835-1910) - Russian writer, orientalist. The History of Media, representing a completely complete and independent study, is at the same time part of the author's Ancient History of the East. This is a series of separate histories of the states of the ancient world, which give a complete picture of the political history, religion and culture of the ancient East. Published in 1903, this book is a fairly voluminous work (more than 500 pages), which presents the history of the Median state. A considerable place in the work is devoted to acquaintance with one of the oldest religions in the world - Zoroastrianism. The History of Media is of great interest to students of the history of ancient Iran.
