This publication contains the complete unadapted text of the second, third and fourth books of Caesar's work "Notes on the War with the Gauls," which is accompanied by a detailed grammatical and real commentary by Corr. USSR Academy of Sciences S. I. Sobolevsky. This issue reproduces the text of the editions of 1946 and 1947. The classical work of Julius Caesar in the edition "Roman Classics" is an ideal textbook and has been widely used for many decades at an early stage in the study of the Latin language.
