The collection publishes 124 legislative documents on the state regulation of Islam in Russia (ser. XVII - beg. XX century). The publication includes manifestos and decrees of Russian tsars and queens, provisions and statutes of central and local government bodies, statistical information characterizing the class and numerical composition of the Muslim community in the Romanov Empire.
