Among the most important legislative monuments is the French Civil Code of 1804, otherwise - the Code of Napoleon. It was created by the large bourgeoisie that came to power on the basis of Roman law. It is also interesting for lovers of Russian history, since for some time it was used on the Polish territory of the Russian Empire. In addition, the Code of Laws of the Russian Empire of 1832 was not free from the influence of the Code of Napoleon.
