The task of occultism is to penetrate the secrets of the universe, life and death and master the secrets of the mental and so-called supernatural worlds. Occultism is based, on the one hand, on tradition, and on the other, on historical and modern facts, on experiments and on scientific data. The tradition or tradition of occultism dates back to the most distant antiquity. She presents secrets that were previously kept by Egyptian priests and Indian Brahmins and which were partly transmitted to oral initiates, partly expressed in written works, mostly of a symbolic nature. The traditions of occultism are divided into two branches: western (of Egyptian origin) and eastern, Indian, still cultivated in India and expressed in Europe in theosophism.
