The main theories of traffic flows are presented and the methods for calculating the movement of cars are given. Particular attention is paid to the design of the plan, longitudinal and transverse profiles of roads, as well as calculations of road pavement. The issues of designing road drainage structures, small culverts, as well as the basis for designing intersections and junctions of highways are considered.
