Covers issues of modern training of shooters: shooting technique in various shooting exercises and conditions; principles, tools and methods for training, forecasting the results of training, modeling training and combat activities; selection, training of extra-class shooters in shooting from a combat pistol. A system of attacking actions of the shooter during combat with the enemy at short distances in an unexpected collision has been developed. Much attention is paid to the methodology for training pistol shooting at moving targets, high-speed shooting with the transfer of fire along the front and in depth, aimed shooting in motion. The issues of leaving the enemy's line of fire and the peculiarities of intuitive pistol shooting are covered. A "Pistol Firing Course" and "Marksmanship Pistol Training Work Program" are offered.
