General information about robots, issues of calculation and design of their mechanical systems: grips, manipulators, parts and links of mechanisms are considered. Requirements for information-measuring, drive and control systems of robots are formulated, methods of calculation and selection of elements and mechanisms of these systems are given, their standard structures and arrangements are given.
