The book describes the theory and practice of using complex radar signals that allow pulse compression. The basic elements of the theory of matched filtering are considered in relation to FM signals and pulse compression systems, as well as the uncertainty functions of such signals; systems with linear and nonlinear FM of compressed pulses and systems with discrete signal coding are described.
