The collection discusses the problems of genesis, formation and functioning of aesthetic categories in aesthetic theory and practice, in aesthetic research and educational work. The collection was prepared by the Petrozavodsk section of the Problem Council of the Ministry of Higher Education of the RSFSR on Marxist-Leninist aesthetics. It publishes articles by teachers of Petrozavodsk University, Karelian Pedagogical Institute and other universities.
