The book contains the works of the famous architect-restorer Leonid Sergeevich Vasiliev (1934-2008) on the architecture of the Kostroma Territory, with minor exceptions, previously not published. Often the author writes about the restoration of architectural monuments, which are now in a deplorable state, or about the restoration of completely lost ones, which gives his research special value.
