The monograph examines vocabulary of the 11th - 17th centuries related to international obligations, diplomatic etiquette, embassy law, diplomatic privileges and immunity; names of diplomatic documents are analyzed. The terminology can be traced in the formation, development, taking into account specific historical facts reflecting the process of development of diplomacy of Ancient Russia, the formation and strengthening of the Russian state.
