The book was published by the state publishing house of foreign and national dictionaries in 1958 and was no longer reprinted. This is the most complete ancient Greek-Russian dictionary, it contains 70 thousand articles with many quotes from ancient authors. BC to II century AD The dictionary includes Greek words and expressions found in the writings of Roman writers. Proper names (onomastics and toponymy) are given with brief explanations and are included in the general alphabetical system. Place names are given with the greatest completeness; only minor ones are excluded from the names of historical and mythological. Note: Almost all word meanings are illustrated with lexical and phraseological examples.
