The book sets out the main milestones of life and the constituent elements of the worldview of the "elder" Grigory Rasputin, who was considered by some to be an outright charlatan, others as a seer, healer and preacher, and others as an "indicator" that the Russian Empire is experiencing a serious crisis (and first of all in the minds of its citizens), which will turn into bloody turmoil; some bowed to him, others plotted against him, others anathematized him.
