Old friends Boris and Paul found themselves in the Middle East in the midst of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Boris was appointed a hand-to-hand combat consultant to the Egyptian army. And Paul, who had recently emigrated to Israel, serves as a translator with the Israelites. During a combat operation, Boris is captured. During interrogation, he meets Paul, who hates war and military service. Together they decide to flee. But, as it turned out, to kill the guards and break free is only half the battle.
