The handbook contains information on the personal composition of the highest political authorities of our country that existed during the years of Soviet power, the biography of about four thousand members and candidates for membership in the Central Committee, the Central Control Commission and the Central Audit Commission of the Communist Party. The book also contains the composition of the central control and audit bodies of the party elected at party congresses, lists of governing bodies of the Central Committee (Politburo, Presidium, Organizing Bureau and Secretariat), the Central Control Commission (Presidium and Secretariat) and the leadership of the Central Audit Commission. Biographies of members of the Central Committee, CKK and CRK are illustrated by unique photographs. The handbook was prepared on the basis of open materials and is addressed to everyone interested in the history of the Soviet Union.
