The book sets out in a systematic form a set of questions devoted to the laws of transformations of explosives and the effect of explosion in different environments. It considers with sufficient completeness the general properties of explosives and the conditions for their transformation depending on various physicochemical factors, detonation and combustion processes. The issues of brisant and high-explosive effect of the explosion are presented, the theory of cumulation is considered in detail. Much attention is paid to the applied gas dynamics of unsteady currents.
