The history of international relations is covered. Unlike similar domestic educational publications, the chronological framework of analysis has been significantly expanded: the formation of international relations has been studied since the Ancient World and the Middle Ages. Foreign policy issues are considered in a broad cultural, historical and socio-economic context. The latest trends in the development of the system of international relations in connection with the processes of globalization and geopolitical reorganization of the world are revealed. The appendix contains the program of the course "History of International Relations and Foreign Policy of Russia" and a bibliography.
