The implementation of the great program of communist construction adopted by the XXI Congress of our Party is inextricably linked with the upbringing of a new person, harmoniously combining ideological wealth, moral purity, physical perfection, devotion to communism, love of work. The most important role in this process belongs to the school. In the system of communist education, extracurricular work, fruitfully carried out in many schools of our country, is becoming increasingly important. It is based on various historical material, proceeds in various forms (circles, excursions, evenings, exhibitions, work with a book, etc.), but invariably contributes to the comprehensive development, spiritual growth, and creative work of schoolchildren. Soviet teachers created an interesting extracurricular experience.
