The collection examines current problems of the political, social and cultural history of the Caucasus, Byzantium, as well as some neighboring countries and state entities. Part of the work is devoted to the study of the general features and trends of the historical and cultural development of the region, taking into account the data of multilingual sources. The book publishes new materials on the ethnic history of the Caucasus. As in previous issues, the collection contains a bibliography. Intended for historians and philologists.
