The work is devoted to one of the topical topics for domestic historical science - the Second Plague Pandemic ("Black Death") on the territory of the Golden Horde and adjacent regions, it presents the achievements of foreign and domestic researchers on this topic. The work consistently covers the largest epidemics of the late XIII - first half of the XV centuries. Based on Arab-Muslim, Persian, Latin, Russian, Lithuanian and Byzantine sources, key moments of Tatar and Russian history are shown.
