The textbook was prepared on the basis of a course of lectures given over several years to students of mechanical and instrument-making specialties of universities. The manual discusses the issues of classification, structure, technology (including nanotechnology) of manufacture, quality control, modeling the processes of deformation and destruction of anisotropic elastic, viscoelastic, elastic-plastic inhomogeneous materials.
