The tutorial presents the main sections of seed control, such as: sampling for analysis, seed purity, seed germination, seed viability, determination of moisture content and natural weight of seeds, determination of the mass of 1000 seeds, identification of seeds, paperwork and arbitration analysis of seeds. The textbook describes the methods for evaluating the seed material approved by GOST, as well as provides alternative methods for analyzing seeds that can be used in the research work of masters and teachers of higher educational institutions.
