The textbook is prepared in accordance with the main provisions of the competence approach, meets the current requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard for Secondary Vocational Education of the Latest Generation in the Specialties of 36.02.01 "Veterinary Medicine" and 36.02.02 "Zootechnia," taking into account modern scientific data, information on the biology of the bee family is presented, technology for keeping bee colonies, protecting bees from diseases and pests, main technologies of beekeeping production in accordance with modern norms and standards are considered, requirements for construction and operation of beekeeping facilities are given.
