The conversations of the famous contemporary preacher and biblical scholar Archpriest Alexander Me (1935-1990) are dedicated to the last book of the Bible - the Revelation of John the Theologian. They were recorded on tape by listeners and spiritual children of Father Alexander. The appendix includes a lecture by Father Alexander on the Apocalypse and an article from an unpublished Bibliological Dictionary. The book sheds light on the most mysterious part of scripture and shows that the symbolic language of the Apocalypse can be "sufficiently transparent and understandable." Numerous symbols, fantastic images and visions are revealed through the images of the prophetic books of the Old Testament.
