This house in the small Austrian town of Amstetten became famous overnight: Despite police bans, tourists took photos and sketches of the facade for a long time. And in the bunker under the house for almost a quarter of a century there was hell. Here, from 1984 to 2008, a simple electrician Joseph Fritzl kept in captivity and regularly raped his own daughter, and with her, not knowing sunlight, children born from unnatural intercourse languished.
