The collection includes such well-known German folk tales as "The Fairy of the Stream," "Treasure Seeker," "The Tale of Three Sisters," "Richilda" and "Legends of Rübetsal." They were recorded in the XIX century. German teacher Johann Karl August Museus and remain popular in most European countries today. All texts are translated by Friedrich Hoffmann and illustrated with drawings by the talented French artist Albert Robid.
