Over the past years and months, Borisoglebsk problems have constantly attracted the interest of specialists, and not, and publications on it are numerous, often very useful. The "Boris-Gleb Collection Collectanea Borisoglebica" will take its place among these publications, hoping for the attention of the reader, hoping in turn to benefit him. Its purpose, it seems to me, more clearly expresses the Latin element of the name, collectanea, than the hackneyed word collection: it consists, first of all, in collecting materials covering the formation and development of the cult of St. Boris and Gleb.
