General approaches for describing slow atomic collisions in quasi-molecule language are presented. Quasi-classical expressions for collision parameters of slow atomic particles are obtained. The used approximations of the theory of slow atomic collisions are considered. An asymptotic theory of three groups of slow processes is given: resonance, quasi-resonance, and electron-breaking processes. Expressions for sections of the corresponding processes in specific cases are compared with an experiment.
