The most recent achievements in the field of physics of nanosystems, technology for the production and application of low-dimensional structures are presented. The theoretical and experimental foundations of the physics of semiconductor nanostructures, superlattices, low-size allotropic modifications of carbon: graphene, fullerene, nanotubes are described.
