The sections of technical electrodynamics included in the curricula of a number of disciplines of higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media are presented. The issues of electromagnetic wave emission, wave processes at the interface of media, as well as the features of wave propagation in guide systems are considered.
