VOLUME 1 - "Anthology of socio-economic thought in Russia" allows us to trace the bicentennial period of the development of domestic socio-economic thought in the original works of its main representatives. The first volume includes the works of such outstanding scientists as S. N. Bulgakov, A. A. Kaufman, N. P. Oganovsky, A. A. Isaev, V. V. Svyatlovsky, S. N. Prokopovich, A. M. Stopani, M. Davidovich, G. Naumov, P. Timofeev, F. A. Shcherbina. They are devoted to the most pressing problems of that time: the working conditions and life of factory workers, the land community, the resettlement of peasants in Siberia, workers and peasant budgets. The theoretical and methodological level and methodological equipment of these studies exceeds what is in modern Russia, and is comparable to the leading European and American scientific research of those years, or even ahead of them. Undoubtedly, it was the golden age of domestic humanitarian science.
