Why do Dostoevsky and many of those who have researched his work pay so much attention to the "strange" in the poetics of the writer? To answer this question, the anthology includes excerpts from the works of Dostoevsky, extracts from articles and books about Dostoevsky by famous critics and researchers, as well as the "Afterword" of the compiler, which sets out his point of view on the problem of Dostoevsky's "strange."
