The problems of optimal restoration of functions, linear functionals and operators, the theory of Gaussian restoration formulas on various Chebyshev systems are investigated. Recent research results are highlighted, which in one sense or another are final. Particular attention is paid to research methods that can be used in solving a number of other problems.
